The FILTERMAG® is a grouping of strong, rare-earth neodymium magnets encased in an curved frame. The assembly adheres magnetically to the outside of the oil-filter cartridge and traps ferrous particles against the inside of the filter housing. The particles quite often are small enough that they would never be trapped by the filter element. The FILTERMAG® never wears out and can be used over and over as the oil filter cartridge is changed.

FILTERMAG® is offered in four different series. The SS series is designed for cars
and light trucks and is available in different sizes (based on the diameter of the oil filter). There is a racing/heavy-duty RA series for more demanding applications, again available in different sizes. There is also an MC series for motorcycles and a TM series for automatic transmissions and differentials. Included at the left in the submenus are several cross reference utilities to help you determine the FILTERMAG® that is correct for your car. Currently, only the RA300 and RA365 models are available from MAGDANA.
